I applied here for PGDM with a Marketing specialization. The admission process started with a Group discussion after which there was a personal interview. The admission criteria for the PGDM program is having a stable score in 10th, 12th and Graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since my graduation days, I was eager to do a master's in marketing. So, I choose that course. The faculty and students ratio at IMS is justified. And the qualifications of the faculties are up to the mark. There are three terms in one year and a total of 6 terms in two year PGDM course. And it is not that difficult to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Indeed, there are numerous companies that do visit for providing Internships to students and they do provide numerous roles for different domains such as Marketing, HR, Operations, IT and many more. And such companies do provide stipends.
Placement Experience
Mostly, at the beginning of the Vth trimester, the placement gets started at IMS. There are many companies who do visit to IMS such as Deloitte, Amul, DTDC, CRISIL, Dabur and many more. Most of the students of our batch has got the placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are a few scholarships that are available for either girl child or meritorious students who have secured a reasonable score since class 10 and have sustained the benchmark. Name of the scholarships are Girl Child Scholarship, Alumni Scholarship and many more.
Campus Life
The annual fest at IMS is known as MELANGE. And it is mainly conducted in the month of August. There are more than 20,000 books and journals available in our library. There are numerous amenities available in the classroom such as Podium and projector and many more.
Interview Experience
Yes, I did face the group discussion round. And the topics of GD were mainly the current affairs topics. I did a bit of preparation for the Group discussion by reading a newspaper and was able to successfully nail it. And then we had our personal interview.
