HLCC is best

HLCC is the best commerce college in Gujarat. I didn't apply anywhere else than HLCC. I availed OBC reservation quota for admission which most candidates do. Cut off of college is highest as compared to any other commerce college. Around 85 for general and 76-78 for OBC and so on. The admission process was provided but government guidelines and it takes upto 1-month maximum to complete all formalities.

Exams are held every 6 months as per the semester system. As compared to any other college, the examination of HL college is tough to score for the ordinary students but as a student of HLCC, it is easy to score because the students are brighter and scholars from their schools.

As a student enters semester 5, i.e 3rd year of graduation and he gets the opportunity to enrol in a campus placement drive. There are lots of offers that we are served with. Various companies were interested to recruit the students from best Institute like HLCC. The highest package can be approximately 4.5 lakh per year.

Government scholarship plan, 1500 pr so per year under this scholarship programme. Under campus placement, we got exposure to a lot of interviews and companies. Renowned banking companies like HDFC, ICICI, AXIS Bank, South Indian Bank etc came for campus placement.

There are a bunch of clubs working in HL where each student get exposure to working in his field of interest i.e Economics club, Dance Club etc. The college has also a website where all information about the college is available.
