Remarks

Just the punes over here think that they r the bosses ove here they would catch u for nothing n would order u for doing things.

Entrance Preview

MHT-CET -98/200 which is an average score i missed thadomal college by 1 mark so opted for this as it's an average college whereas other colleges didn't have good reputation like this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's not that perfect as in first year a lot of subjects which are of no user to me are there chemistry and all are of no use to students who want to persue computer engineering then to we need to study such subjects so this is a negative point for the curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

No i don't know about this as right now i am on first year and there are not any internship programs for us till now.

Placement Experience

3

It's not that bad all medium range package providing companies do come and since high ones too like tcs and reliance and all there are students who get even high packages then 7-8 lakhs per annum but the drawbacks are like we need to sign a contract for minimum 2 years that we would work for them.

College Events

3

There are a lot of events which take place by different chapters like csi ieee n all even 1 college fest like nucleas and all i don't know all as i am a first year student and i didn't get time to participate in all such things but you could check ask this on the college web site.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's 104000 per year which is the average fees right now in engineering in Mumbai ask the colleges have this average amount so it's not that high and not that low if we consider it done colleges have 1.35 lakhs and some also have below one lakh so can't argue with that thing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes dte provided scholarships to ebc n minority students u need to fill in all the forms available by dte and submit it then the college helps u to take the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Nothing as such i mean there r girls n boys in the class the no of boys to that of girls is average as it would be in any engineering college every stream has equal no of girls n boys the crowd in this college is mostly of central mumbai and harbour line rarely some students come here from western line.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Canteen food is ok the price is also reasonable some of the things taste too good and some are average cold beverages n all are also available in the canteen it also has some packed good seller but it's not in canteen there's an different shop for it too.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful as they say ragging and all would be experienced i have not seen this yet n nit even heard of it.

Exam Structure

Hectic we used to have lecture n practicals both on one day so sometimes after workshops we feel tired at the end of the day n feel like i m done with engineering but u should get used to it as that routine would repeat and nothing else as such physics and chemistry practicals are too easy to perform.

Admission

Directly by DTE which is the governing body for admission in Maharashtra we need to pay dte by dd n then u need to fill some online forms which had further cap rounds there were in total 4 caps but i got admission in the second round itself so i didn't opt for further rounds.

Faculty

4

They are all qualified all of them are good at teaching since of them are phds n mastered from reputed institutes which makes them better at facing student problems but overall they are good there are some teachers which we feel like she is teaching but does she know what she is teaching.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
