No good or bad comments. a college has pros and cons always but what i feel is that this college has played a very important role in my life and i am highly obliged to the college for this the management is decent enough but its high time that some things need to be changed.

RPET - 588 rank. It wasn't a choice of my own rather it was of my family as a whole. CTAE, Udaipur became a part of my life in July 2014. I was always willing to take over CSc and IT course under any college. Whereever i applied, I always filled up for these 2 branches as my first two preferences. Later, when I came accross this college I was so happy to be near my family and be a part of a very good and reputed college.

The course curriculum of our college is a bit more old fashioned and also not up to the mark. Being a government college it doesn't even try to bring proper and adament changes to the course. In terms of research i still feel our college still has to improve a lot. Electives include - artificial intelligence, embedded systems, data mining, Simulation and Modelling, Image processing, neural computing, optimization techniques, high speed networks, Os design, parallel and distributed database, IC design, real time computing, automata theory.

Yes, the major companies which come are TCS, Adhvaya, Zinc, AppPerfect these companies offer on campus internships to all the students of 3rd year in our college the stipend is not disclosed to the students neither do the staff talks about the same other than this, there are some offers from companies which provide online or offline application for internships and the college gives us prior knowledge about such companies on time.

Placements in my college were huge and best around 4 years ago. But now the scenario has changed a bit and is changing regularly. recently, good companies came to our college and some of them were zinc and TCS which offered placements of 8.95 and 3.6 lacs p.a.

There is only one fest that our college has and it is the biggest in the city (udaipur) there are various events which happen during the fest and there is a huge participation other than that there are fresher's and farewell parties which are held department wise.

One time admission fees - 39580/- (30600 + 8980) per semester fees - 30600/- hostel fees - 17600 for three per room 18500 for two per room 19600 for one per room the fee structure is quite nominal and affordable to all the only problem is the caste system and all the fees reductions for them and also for the agriculture students.

Loans are available from all the banks to all the students which are financially weak or not so strong the loans are sanctioned easily scholarships are many but none for the general people and me being a general and not based on some caste i am not at all applicable for such scholarships there are many for SC ST and some castes too.

Campus life so far has been adventurous and quite amusing its yet to be decided and to be put up with a full stop gender ratio is okayish and diversity is quite heavy there is a very vast culture and variety of people in our college. Extracurricular is the best as our college wins various awards for dance and music. Labs are up to the mark and well maintained. our PCs and podiums are well maintained racism is there in some groups of the castes politics are there because of the student elections also, the sports is also one of the best parts to look at as football, cricket, freeezbee and basketball etc they all have won university level and inter university tournaments.

The hostel facilities are decent enough i am not a host-elite but i have friends which are they have commented well about the facilities only the mess food is not up to the mark although we all know how the mess food is. but overall its pretty okay.

College seniors are very helpful and they are always there for all the juniors and there batch-mates too alumni is also very good and helpful if we as juniors reach them in a polite and healthy manner.

Exams are very hectic and very fussy and the university as well as college administration can seriously work for this but i think they are a bit lazy. exams and their results are totally cousins or siblings to each other. neither the exams are good neither our expected results. But, the labs are very very cool. and i personally enjoy that time.

31st March 2014 was the exam of RPET and I gave the exam and got a good rank in it. results were out in may or somewhere near june. Later, in end of June applications to the College of Technology and Engineering were open and under the guidance of my family, i took this as an opportunity and filled the form. 17th July'14 the results were out and I received a seat in the couirse of B.Tech IT.

The faculty of our college is cast and of intense variety this is because only two or three departments are completely filled with permanent faculties but I will be honest in respect to my department only. The faculty in CSc and IT dept. are more of the guests. the guest faculty has the majority and there are just 3 or 4 teachers with high standards and permanent job which are highly qualified and can deliver much much more to all students.
