Remarks
There are two methods to get admitted to the college: (1) You can enroll for the AKTU entrance exam and from there you can choose this college. (2) You can directly visit the college, you'll be asked to show the qualifications certificate and accordingly, you'll be provided a list of courses you're eligible with. Just choose the course you want and get admitted by paying the full fee at the same time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was having a keen interest in Computer Science since my childhood, so I have chosen this course. Faculty: The student ratio is 1:4. I'm pretty much impressed by the teachers here. They are very supportive and qualified except for some teachers, and I won't say they are bad teachers, just they don't have the proper method of teaching which is preferred. Here term exams are held 2 times in 1-semester names CT - 01 and CT - 02. Those term exams were not that much different to pass, just you have to get a basic knowledge of every subject and you would pass.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't found any internship as of now in this college, but I have heard and viewed that there are some company visits for internships to offering Stipend of around 12000 - 15000 per month. A student from this College who got 5 job placement offers and 2 internship offers from good companies, and that's the best part of this College, that you can bag as many placements as you want.
Placement Experience
From the 5th and 6th semesters, you become eligible for the campus placement drive. Some of the companies that visit regularly are Byju's, Capgemini, TCS, rarely Amazon. The average package of this College is around 4 lakhs per annum and the highest is 18 lakhs per annum recorded to date. Around 86% of students are placed from this College. I plan to bag a good company after getting this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this College is under AKTU, so its fees are according to the norms provided by the university only. For your kind information, there is an almost negligible fees hike, as it's a State University College. The fee for B.Tech CSE is around 1 lakh rupees per annum. There is no scholarship provided in this college, but you can apply for it outside the organization. There are a lot of companies that visit regularly on the campus for placement. Most of them are non - core companies.
Campus Life
There are not many grand annual fests held in this college, there's only 1 fest is conducted which is " TechnoBlast " which is conducted around the month of April each year. The library is a key facility of this College, there are a lot of books in the library which includes all the academic-related books, journals, comics and many more. Classrooms are medium sizes, non AC with good quality of the table, nothing more. Sports available in this college are, Basketball, lawn tennis, cricket, Volleyball, Badminton. There are no clubs Available right now in the college, but they might be available after few months only.
Hostel Facilities
College doesn't have a college facility of its own. There are many hostels, Paying Guests available nearby like AB hostels, Nalanda PG, and many more. I wasn't using any hostels or PG, so I don't know much about them. But some of my friends used to live there, and from them, I got to know that, Nalanda PG was the best there, which provides good quality of food, but the price is a little high as compared to others available nearby.
Interview Experience
If you have given the UPSEE exam, then you would be admitted to the college without any interview or test pattern. But if you go through the passage of Direct Admission, then you might have to face the Interview questions, which would be very easy ones. So don't worry about it. Criteria for admission is the same as in other Engineering colleges, above 70% in class 12th, with mathematics.
