Remarks

I have applied to SRNMC and Sahyadri College. But didn't get good quality teaching as heard from seniors. So I applied to Dvs as it had good reviews. I have not applied for any quota to admission. The admission criteria are based on 2nd pic pass that can apply. There are no minimum marks required and there's no age limit for the program. The admission process is simple. Just a day process. I gave all the required documents with a Xerox copy and paid the course fees. The staff were helpful and it's a smooth process.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

As I have interested in the teaching and programming field I choose this course. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:20. Senior experienced faculty were less but the young lecture is good. Most of all are Master degree holders and some are pursuing PhD.some lecture have Phd and USA return. The term exam was as per University instructions. Lab exams were very difficult but surely pass. But theory exams are difficult to pass. Need hard work.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students in the final semester can apply for placement. Wipro, TCS, Diya software, Qspiders are the company's visited. And they made 40 offers. The highest package was 1.8 lakh made by Wipro and the average was 1.5 lakh made by others and profiles are technical support executives and junior programmers. The percentage of students getting placed is 10% many opt for masters. Just looking after business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 18000 per year and it's affordable. The fees hike is generally below 2000 and the cost to study is 10000 or less(excluding fees). You ll get Vidyasiri scholarship for all categories and sc/ st have some special scholarship and women students have other scholarship. You'll be having job assistance from Wipro, TCS, Diya software, Qspiders around 15000 stipend.

Campus Life

2.5

Dvstrolls, Dvshaiklu on Instagram and many more groups are there on Instagram run by students activity. Golden Jubilee was celebrated when we are there and annually there's a celebration of college day in the month of January, blood camps, environment day is there. Lot of books are available in the library covering all subjects and you can take them home. Classrooms are just simple and have good benches and board. Sports activities are there, you'll be having Cricket, Volleyball and indoor games. You have gym facilities inside the college. You have ground backside college. College gives good encouragement. You have opportunities to participate in other extracurricular activities where you have University level competition and can go to the national level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

SST is a new enginrering college that started its first batch in 2023. Since the first batch is still studying, final job placements have not happened yet. However, students in the second year (1st batch) have done really well when it comes to internship opportunities. From this batch, 96.3% students around 158 total got internships at well known companies in India and Abroad. The highest stipend offered was around 2 lac per month, and the average is 31363 per month. Students got internships offers from big companies like Swiggy, Zomato, Apple Developer Academy, etc.

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
