Remarks

I applied for Chandrabhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya and was selected at 60th position out of 360. But I didn't take admission in that college because it was in Hindi medium and secondly its infrastructure was nowhere equal to integral. There were many quotas but I was not eligible to avail any. The admission was simple firstly we have to apply for the university that costs 1000 rupee perform. Then we were called for the entrance exam IUCAT in which we have to score atleast 60% to qualify for the exam. If we qualified the exam we have to go again for document verification and a fee of 50,000 for the first year only to take admission. The minimum age is 18 years to take admission to the university. The admission is as simple as that the staff is really good and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course that I opted for will be in great demand when I will complete my UG that's why I opted for it. An increasing population of India increased pollution that's why soil, water, and the air gets highly polluted then there is a need for an agriculturist to make everything good. Everyone in today's India needs organic food & fruits which is growing by farmers with the help of agriculturist. The faculty members(teaching staff) to the student are in the ratio of 1:50. The teaching staff is highly qualified and dignified. The professors here have a great knowledge of their subject and have qualified from ICAR affiliated universities and that's a big advantage for the students. They teach us everything in detail and Whatever is needed. The end sem exams were conducted timely after a gap of 6 months and there were mid sems too to increase students' knowledge. The question asked in the examination were from our course taught by teachers and it's very easy if you have listened to the professors the whole year.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the 3rd year we are taken to Organic India Pvt. Ltd. company for our internship. We were given a role in the field and were checked by CCTV cameras that how we are working and if we complete the task in the given time we were taken inside the industry to help in processing and packaging of the raw materials. For this, we were provided a little stipend at the end of the month but this gives us great knowledge regarding our specialized field. This part of university life is really enjoyable because we feel as employed and proud at the first salary that is provided to us as a stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are about 50-55% placement taking place almost every year and sometimes it decreases to 20-30% as required by the company. There are many companies coming to recruit the best students like agri-seed, mahindra, ILL chemicals etc. After completing UG the students are professionally eligible for getting hired by the company. If you have scored atleast 85% you are on the way to be in the list of getting hired in any company. The highest package offered in last year was nearly to 10.8 lakh p.a. and the average package is about 4.5-6 lakh per year. Some leftover students are hired by the university and the no one asks for the others. After I will get a degree I will go for MSc so that I can get a great deal.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our course is 200000 for 4 years that is 50000 per year. This cost is too cheap if compared to the good quality of teaching and hygienic campus. The hostel and mess fees is not included in this 200000. The mess and hostel fees is somewhat expensive because but the quality can no where be questioned. There are different sort of scholarship provided by our college. If you have a sibling then you can apply, if the annual income of the family is less than 200000 than you can apply, if you have done UG from Integral and are going to persue PG from Integral then you are again eligible for the scholarship. There are internships in the last year of college where you are provided with stipend and if you are good in your subject then the university itself hires you but at low salary.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many national and international functions every year and fests are occasionally conducted by our university. The sports day that's always confirmed is held in September which is really enjoyable. There is a big library equipped with all kind of books required for each and every course. Every year atleast 3 times new journals arrive in library and we are informed of this new arrival by our gmail account given by the university. Not only on curricular, but the university keeps a check on extra curricular activities of the interested and active students and the university conducts competition of sports to sharpen the skills of the players. There are many social groups run by the students and one is the anti-ragging community which is a successful group that sees no where in the university, senior's raggs any junior student. This community is joined by some teachers too.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandrabhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya | BSc(Hons)Ag

I took this college because it's an expensive university and the medium of communication is english.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
