I took AIEEE(now IIT-MAINS) as the competitive examination for entrance to engineering. I scored 243/360 and I secured AIR-4626. Considering the mechanical engineering as one of the best in Indian colleges I opted only for mechanical engineering during counselling. Apart from that this college is very good regarding placements and professors.

As I opted only for mechanical engineering that too in MANIT is because it has its very own labs which are comparable to several IITs and professors here are well qualified which help you to not only understand the subject but also they guide you in every possible way to success.

Yes we do have several companies visiting for placements providing internships to pre-final year students. General stipend range that for a CSE guys are higher and they get more chances for internships while in other branches they too get internships. Stipend is somewhere near 15000-20000.

Placements here are good in numbers and that too CTC wise. We have even 27 lakhs of placements package provided by Amazon in our college. Even for mechanical people whose average package lies near 6 lakhs got package of 15 lakhs by Trident group. Job profiles offered here are also good be it technical aur managerial, if you wish to go for any type of profile.

Exam structure in my opinion was very well structured. We had 1 mini test of 10 marks and 1 minor of 20 marks and Lab minor practical examination in between the semester . And as everywhere we had 1 major exam for theory and laboratory practicals and viva, as labs have there own grade points.

As already told after securing rank through online counselling I got admission in MANIT. As per the admission process first you have to go through online counselling where you have to fill choices for several colleges and branches according to your preferences. Then after getting college you have to go there and get yourself enrolled in the college.
