If you have chance in NIT or IIT then go for it.

Admission is gone through UPSEE Exam. If You have scored well in the exam and secured a good rank( Under 2500 for the general category) then anyone can easily get admission to this college. Then the Date of counselling will be declared and You have to report in person to the centre with the draft of college fees and hostel fees if you want, to get your seat reserved.

Since I was always excited about engines, So I decided to take admission to Mechanical Engineering Branch. The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. The faculty of Mechanical Engineering is highly qualified having done a PhD in specific courses and published many research papers. Professor has done their Master from IIT. There will be 2 semesters in a year and 4 sessionals in a year. They have moderate difficulty.

You cannot get many internships offers in our college. You have to find it on your own. Although you can get some offer from Training and Placement cell of IET. Basically, CS students get more internship offers and have a good stipend for that.

After the 6th semester, you are eligible to get a chance in Placement. In Mechanical Branch Yamaha and Hero has come for placement at the offer of 5 to 6 Lakh package. Generally, CS and IT branches get maximum placement and the Highest package is for the CS branch which is 36 LPA. The percentage has low priority than your skill. With more skills you have, you can get more placement. I will go for the M.tech program.

The fee for Mechanical Engineering Students is 84775 and Hostel fees is 14500. Also, the Mess fee of the hostel is 34000 annually in which you have to deposit in two instalments of six months. Also, Students can apply for scholarships given by UP Government to the student whose family income is less than 2 Lakh annually. They Can get scholarships easily.

There are many annual fests like cultural fest Encore, sports fest Sharyostava and Pravaha. There is a Branch fest also conducted by 2nd and 3rd year students to their freshers. They are generally held in October. The library in IET is very good and in good condition. You will easily get your coursebook there. You can issue it for 15 days after which you have to return it to the library and you also reissue it easily. There is a playground for students. Also, badminton is there in every hostel. There are many clubs in IET like tech club SAE, Robotics and literature club like Rhetorica, Excelsior, Swaranjali, and Fractal for programmers.

There is a warden in each hostel and 2 attendants in every hostel. Quality of Meal is best in Block like A, C and E. Aryabhatt hostel for the second year have the worst quality of food even roti is not properly cooked. The registration process is easy and every can hostel. If you have high SGPA then you can get the room of your choice otherwise you have to manage.
