Sharda university conducts their own admission test known as SUAT. The dates are flexible according to your visit at the university campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course structure is credit based,where more focus or credits are given to your core subjects. There are a couple of subjects too which you can chose as electives to sharpen your off field skills. There are departmental electives from where you can get to choose among the department subjects and there is open elective, where you get to choose among subjects from various departments.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of nearby startups which provide internship at our university.the stipend maximum is around 10,000 INR.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of companies who visit sharda every year for placements. The average package they offer is 3-4 lakh per annum. Mostly every student get placed by the end of the year, the no.of companies visiting sharda is roughly 60-70 during an academic year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees differs according to the courses. The fees for b.tech is around 1.5 lakh per annum. While for MBBS its like 11 lakh per annum. So it totally depends upon which course you're choosing. There are a whole lot of courses to choose from. So if I'll have to say the fees structure is feasible according to the courses when to compare them to other private universities around.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships both for academics and sports. The scholarships range from 10%-60%. Depending on how meritorious you are in your field. You can avail loans through various banks for the college fees. Although its quite tiring and involves some paperwork. But its always available as an option.
Campus Life
The campus life of sharda is quite happening. The gender ratio is about 60:40 first one being the male students. There's also a lot of diversity in the crowd as we have students from different nations. Each festival or any big day is celebrated in the campus with great joy.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors can be very helpful in Sharda university. They treat you like their siblings and guide you so that when you're new , you don't feel like a loner. The alumini's also visit the college and will tell you more about the real challenge in the outer world. And how you can face them.
Exam Structure
The exams structure is moderate. As we have a mid semester and end semester exams . In between the regular classes the professors take quizzes which make up the internal assessment marks. The final exams are conducted with at least one day gap between subsequent exams to give the students.
Faculty
The overall faculties department wise are okay. Some of them are really good and can even help students with research things. The faculties also mentors you throughout your graduation and for any kind of query you can go straight in and ask.or you can contact them. The faculties are very welcoming.
