A brief about PUMBA

The one factor which really pushed me towards taking admission in PUMBA was ROI because the fees here is very less as compared with other colleges offering the same course and also the placements are quite good. The admission process happens through CAP Rounds based on your enterance score. Before selecting the college I spoke with few of the alumini of PUMBA to get a clear picture.

The reason I chose this course was because after B.Com I wanted to gain some corporate exposure before entering into my family business and what better way then to do MBA in Marketing. Apart from this PUMBA provided dual specialization too which gives you a luxury to select two specializations, one major and one minor. The faculty at PUMBA are also experienced and adding more to that are the visiting professors who carry corporate experience to make the students ready for the corporate world. PUMBA has a Trimester pattern and apart from the exceptional delay which happened during our batch, the exams are conducted as per the schedule provided.

For the Internship again their are various companies which visit the campus and offer different roles. The roles provided were for Research Ananlyst, Marketing Intern, Business Development Intern, Digital Marketing Intern, Financial Analyst, etc.

The Placement Cell within the college does a great job to get the companies on the campus. Companies like PWC, CRISIL, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Mercedes Benz India, BAJAJ Finserv, Entytle, BrowserStack, TATA Capital, e-Zest Solutions, TCS, INFOSYS, etc also visits the campus. Recently PUMBA Achieved a 100% placement too. BrowserStack offered the highest salary of approx 17 LPA.I have been placed as a Product Manager at ICICI Bank through Campus Placement and I plan to continue with this job.

The fee is already quite low at 135000 approx. for 2 years and additionally students can apply for Government scholarship if they are eligible for the same.

The annual fest of PUMBA is DHRUV which is conducted by the Cultural Cell. Apart from the annual function there are other events and activities continuously happening in the college. These events and activities are conducted by different cells in the college and these cells are tum by the students themselves.

I personally opted for private hostel which was located in Baner. It was a Maheshwari hostel and the food quality and overall atmosphere was quite nice. If you're a Maheshwari then it is the best place for you to stay and complete your studies.
