Remarks

Though it is a tier 2 college but once you are admitted in it.you won't feel it.and you'll feel that it is one of the best college and best decision of your life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

PUMBA has a trimester patter, meaning it has 3 semester exams in an academic year. MBA students are required to do a 2 month internship in the month of June-July. You have the college cultural festival in the month of January. The curriculum is specialization driven and the faculty is pretty good too.

Placement Experience

4

As PUMBA is a tier 2 college, we don't get a lot of big companies but even though we have some big four companies. The packages provided by the companies mostly vary from 6 lpa to 15 lpa. We almost have above 100 companies for placements.

College Events

4

We have a cultural fest called as Dhruv. Dhruv is a 3 day event. We have sports competition in it. Mba quizzes. Dance, singing, fashion show. All of the college is decorated with a different theme every year. We have a National Seminar organised every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the entire course of 2 years is around 1.25 lakhs. So it is a very feasible fee structure. Plus the placements you get are of much higher package so the ROI is the best in any college of Maharashtra. If you are an OBC or SC category student, then the fees charged is even less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well I'm a OBC category student so i have opted for State government scholarship scheme. We've to fill the online form and take a print out of it and submit it to college office along with necessary documents.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life in PUMBA is great. As it is situated in Pune University itself. there's a lot of greenery around. The gender ratio in PUMBA would be 1:5. We have our cultural festival in January named Dhruv. We have extracurricular activities such as sports.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No i haven't opted for hostel. The hostels are University hostels and 20 seats for boys and 20 seats for girls are provided by MBA students. The hostel bathroom are of dormitory type. meaning only 1 bathroom section for all of students in a building.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network of PUMBA is pretty good. We have a lot of alumini's working at a reputated position in the industry. The senior students are very helpful and guide us whenever needed.

Admission

Firstly you have to give MBA CET or ATMA or MAT to get a seat in PUMBA. For CET the cutoff is around 120 marks and for ATMA and MAT the cutoff is around 99.4% Then you have to apply for college admission rounds and complete the process once you're alloted the college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very well experienced and has dedicated teaching approach. Some of them are permanent faculty and some are visiting faculties. They give regular assesment tests to keep up with the industry and asses the students for internal evaluation and give feedback.

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.

Placements are good, during our batch it was pretty low because of the recession and other economic parameters. In MBA mostly the companies come for marketing jobs so mostly the jobs offered was sales, but as the college has became university i think every process has been changed and could result in good placement.

1) students become eligible for placements just after they complete their second semester examinations 2) only local companies visited to our colleges such as per Pooja, weblink services etc which were very small scale local organisations offering very poor packages to the students 3) the average package that my batch got was 2.lakhs per annum and the highest was 6 lpa where before admission the college claimed the average packages to be 6lpa and Highest to be above 10lpa 4) the percentage of students getting placed is not more than 10-15% 5)my plans after getting the degree is to look for better companies outside my college because my college hasn't been helpful in terms of placements in any manner .

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
