IBSAT Exam There was a written exam and I scored 75 out of 100.Since IBS hyderabad is best college of ICFAI, I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cource curriculum is very good as it has all the subject in year 1 and specialisation subject in year 2. You can opt for your specialisation im year 2 like : finance, marketing, HR, operation management. The IBS university publishes their own case study for teaching. They also has included the HBR case study, which is very good.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, college provided the internship. Lot of company visited for internship. Say 30-40 companies out of which 3-4 companies provided stipend and rest didnt. The experience was good as we don't have to struggle for finding company for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities is very good for top 30℅ student. Few good companies that offers very good salaries and good profiles are DE shaw, JP morgan, Crisil etc. Another 30-40℅ get placed in average marketing or sales job.
College Events
There are lot of events celebrated in the college like: fresher party, diwali, dandiya , new yer etc.Fresher party has lot of activity like walking on ramp,dancing etc. In addition to these is monthly mess party where there is good veg and non veg food followed by dj dance.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is scholarship when i passed it was 75000 for GPA above 8, 1 lac for GPA above 8.6 and 1.36 lack for GPA above 9.
Exam Structure
Exam structure has two components Class participation which has weightage of 40% and totally depends on the faculty on how he judge you in participating in the discussion in the class. Written exam has weight of 60% which is divided into two class test and final exam at the end of semester.
Faculty
Faculty at college was mixed one. There were few very good faculty and there was other faculty who are doing phd from the same college and dont have very good teaching experience. The facility uses case study during class discussion and multiple times facility himself is not able to conclude the cases.
