College management is under process of acquiring new changes positive changes and transforming to the best college of India.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE, BIT SAT I cleared both of the above stated exams, and I preferred IIT(BHU) because its a government funded college and curriculum is best.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main motive of curriculum is all round development of the student by providing and introducing subjects such as Development of socities, History , Creative practices, Human Values etc. A compulsory sport to be taken by a student help him/her to stay fit.

Internships Opportunities

I got internship in my first year on the basis of my college performance and my college. Right now I am a second year student .

Placement Experience

There is a vast scope of placement and job opportunities in both core and non core sectors.

College Events

Cultural festival " KASHIYATRA" the biggest fest of northern India and Asia inviting more than 100 college and their participants, organising several workshops, pronites etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

MCM ( Merit Cum Means) and many other scholarships under state and central government and also other private and non government oraganisations providing scholarships for OBC, SC/STs.

Campus Life

Extra co curricular activities are very vast. one can participate in more than one activities. Gender ratio is not to that mark. First year have around 1:10 ratio (Girl:Boy)Tech Fest is being conducted every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you. One thing I would like to improve in the admission process is that we should be given proper instructions before filling the josaa counseling....Read More
