Remarks

On the land of shiva and ganga iit bhu is a diamond in the crown of varanasi. Nice college knowledged facilities co-operative seniors is its bench mark. Some flaws are there due to quasi administration of BHU.

Curriculum: Some subjects seems boaring and useless while other are intresting. Same is with faculty.

Internships Opportunities

Design and innovation hub of iit bhu gives 9000 rs for 2months in summers. While in most of the companies one has to apply himself.

Placement Experience

It was very well last year with highest of 1.98crore. Placement percentage was about 70%.

Merit cum means scholarship 100000/year Many private as well. No needly boy remains without a scholorship.

Gender ratio is low 1000:30 Various clubs are very active. Most of the students are well behaved and know their goals. Politics/religious hatred etc are absent.

Placement Experience:

After 7th sem for b.tech student and 5th sem for diploma student is ready for campus placement. The company is visited in my collage is Mahindra, Infosis, Tata, Maruti Suzuki , TCS ,Gallent.Their are near about 80% students are placed. After getting the degree I want to become a successful Mechanical Engineer.

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Placements are a core strength of IIT BHU with students becoming eligible from the 7th semster . The Placement rate is excellent consistently above 87%. Top tier companies from all sector (IT,Core,Finance,Consulting) like Google,Microsoft and Goldman Scahs recruit Heavily . the avergage package is very high often exceeding 20 lpa with top offers going much higher while others pursue hugher studis or startps.

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

The IIT BHU STORY

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
