Entered through CET. My ranking was around 28,500 opted this college because of availability of seat in my desired course(ISE).

This college comes under VTU. So the course curriculum is same as all the colleges that come under VTU.

No, My college did not provide any internship for our batch. However, I heard the VTU was making it compulsory for students to take internships. May be they do provide internships now. Not sure about it though.

Placements were terrible in our batch especially. You can blame it on recession or the placement cell itself. But as a matter of fact, only kind of companies that they managed to get to college was for Customer support/Tech support profile. I did not take them up as this is not why i chose engineering for.

There will be many competitions organised in between these semesters. Not just by our college, but also other colleges that comes under VTU keep organising fests and other competitions and inviting students from other colleges to participate. Over this there will be a college fest organised in our own college every year where most of the students of our college gets a chance to participate in multiple events.

We found the fee structure to be expensive compared to other colleges and the amenities provided in the college. Since I had entered through CET, I had to pay around 20 K as CET fees and extra college fee which was also around 30 k (both are on yearly basis for 4 years). If you join this college via Comed-K, the fee structure is even more expensive(around 1 lakh a year).

Exam structure is same in all the colleges that comes under VTU. There will be 8 semesters in total, one for every 6 months. this will be conducted by the VTU itself. In between each semester, you'll have to write 3 internals and this will be conducted by the college itself. However, even this marks will be taken into account while you get your semester marksheet.

I joined college in the year 2009. At that time, seat selection process was entirely different to current day procedure. I had to go to CET cell on a specific date according to my ranking and choose among the available seats at that point. Later on, I had to go the the college and get enrolled there by showing the proof of seat selection and paying the college fee.
