Utpal Kumar's Review On KIIT School Of Computer Engineering - [KSCE], Bhubaneswar

I have appeared for KIITEE-2012. My rank was about 6000. I opt for KIIT because i was unable to clear the IIT or NIT, and second region was KIITEE exam cost was free of cost and my elder sister was already studying there.

Internship are only provided for 4th year student. There are frequent of companies use to visit our campus for internship like Infosys LTD, Intel HP, Amazon, Ericsson etc.

This is the main fact of our college. There are numbers of companies use to visit out college. Previous year almost 100+ companies visited for School of Engineering. If you talk about package Delloite 6.2 Lac, Musigma 18Lac (in 3 Year), cybage Software 3 Lac, Accenture 3.4 Lac, cognizant 3.45 Lac, Infosys 3.25 Lac, Wipro 3.3 Lac, Ericsson 3.5 Lac.

Only scholarship provided by College is of 50000 per annum and this is for only 5 person who have topped in the entrance Exam. And there are lots of terms and conditions on that scholarship so most most probably you are going to lose it.

There is very good gender ratio in our college it should be almost 40::60 . And one more thing it is the very safe campus for girls. You can see very good examples of diversity over here.

KIIT University Have very large alumni network. You can find there is alumni meet in each month in different cities. Senior students are found in almost every IT sector or government jobs.

Exams and Labs are very frequents. You need to manages yourself very well. Questions in exams are not very tough they are always within the syllabus but you need to prepare for it very well. Labs are quite Easy with respect to exams because it is completely in hand of your faculty and lab staff all you have to do is impress them throughout the semester.

As our college is a very big organisation so there are lots of faculties. But the problem is the number of Well experienced and technically qualified faculties with respect to new joined technically low sound faculty is very less. I you are lucky enough then you will get the good professors otherwise most of the faculties are book or slides oriented.
