A roller coaster ride at GDGU

I've applied for various colleges but the placements were not really good there as compared to gd Goenka. Gd Goenka itself is a brand and a college that is internationally known that's why I took admission here. The admission criteria were 50% score in bachelor's and then fill the registration form, personal interview round is there if you clear that your admission is confirmed.

I have opted for microbiology because I've done my bachelors in that course and it really fascinates me. The faculty here in gd Goenka is really good, professors are highly qualified and the mode of teaching is quite modern with interactive sessions and video lectures. Qualifications of the faculty all are PhD holders and NET qualified professors with really good teaching skills. Exams held in duration of 2 months as mid semester exams and end semester exams. If you study you will be able to pass the exams easily but you need to study well they are not that much easy.

The companies like HCL, Microsoft provide good opportunities to the students with good posts like HR, assistant manager and full-time employee. They hire people for the training first and then train them according to the company needs and then hire them as permanent employees of the company will good stipend.

From the third semester, students are eligible for the campus placements and lots of good companies come to campus for the selection process. Companies like Google, Microsoft, axis bank, nutrela, fortis, medanta, hdfc bank etc. Came for placements and they offered a really handsome stipend to the students. The highest package would be around 6-7 lakh per annum. Students with a good percentage above 60% are eligible for the placements. I would plan to do PhD after my masters or I would rather fetch a good job by getting campus placements in good hospitals and good pharma companies.

The fee of my program is 49500 per semester. There are lots of scholarships provided by the university they even provide 100% scholarships to the students who have scored above 90% in their graduation. There are lots of other scholarship tests organized by universities like scholarship test of gdgu and Haryana domicile scholarship which is specifically for the students having annual income of family below 2 lakhs. The placements are really good here as I'm from a microbiology background students are working in good hospitals like fortis, medanta and getting a really good stipend.

Life at GDGU is filled with joy, a lot of study and opportunities. The infrastructure of the college is too good with international students the campus is huge and the refractory is students favourite place. There are lots of co-curriculum clubs at GDGU like dance club, fashion club, entrepreneurship club, etc. All these clubs help students to boost their confidence and soft skills GDGU has its cultural fest named Acceleron which is a hi-fi event and lots of eminent personalities perform live during the fest and it's a grand event. The sports club is really nice with all the facilities and the campus has a swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court, pool, cricket ground etc.

There was not a group discussion rather they conduct a personal interview where they ask you questions about your subjects which too are a little basic but tricky all you need to do is to brush your basics and answer confidently and you will get admission easily.
