Entrance Preview

I gave the college entrance test and scored above 80 out of 100. This is an integrated course combining law and business studies. I am interested in both.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very nice. The combo of Law and business studies gives you enough knowledge about the corporate law and accounting simultaneously. The course has 10 semesters as it is 5 year course. After passing 3 years you get the BBA degree and on completion of 5 years you get a degree in LAW.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not provide internship but facilitates it for the students studying in the college. The college has a legal and internship cell which helps students to get jobs and internships while studying and after completion of course as well.

Placement Experience

4

The placement and job options are not great but satisfactory. I passed out some 2 years ago so I believe the system might have improved. I didn't opt for the college placement at that time as the salary was too low. Overall, the students are given a fair chance to apply for the jobs and internships.

College Events

5

I was very interested in cultural, sports and moot courts. Hence, took part in almost all the activities that took place in and out of the college. The events were celebrated with lots of colors and excitement. Although it was a Law school but cultural activities were given due importance.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any loan facility from the college nor do I have nay clue about it. The college was pretty lenient and I guess the college might have such facility for the less rich people. There were scholarship programs for the students and many students got a chance to visit some foreign colleges and universities from time to time.

Campus Life

4

The college was pretty good at ex-curriculum activities. I was into sports and cultural activities. Moot courts and debates were also held from time to time. I once secured 3rd position in the college moot court competition. The college had more boys but the ratio was not one sided. The college had some very pretty women as well.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I did not stay in the hostel but had my own rented apartment. The hostels were located just outside the college but within the college premises. The hostel was in a good condition and food was great. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Never got a chance to visit the girls hostel but went to the boys hostel a few times.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, I got in touch with some of the alumni and senior students of my college after passing out and while studying also. They were always helpful and understanding. I am still in touch with many senior students who are good friends and always up for anything and everything.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good. You are given 10 questions out of which 6-7 are compulsory and rest you don't need to answer. It was not that easy but the students loved the format. The exam would be conducted at the end of every semester. Two semesters per year for 5 years.

Admission

Passed the college entrance test. I applied online and went to Delhi for the entrance test. I passed and joined the college in Pune. The process was transparent and the deserving got the admission. I worked hard for it and did not have t pay any captivation fee or anything.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was excellent. There were morning as well as evening classes. The faculty members were efficient and had expertise in their respective fields. Got to learn a lot from them. Some of them were the ex-students who joined the college as faculty later on. It was a good experience to listen tp their experiences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.
