Remarks
My Admissions process in VIT includes applying at the college with your academic details including marks scored in graduation. After that, I was invited to the college for the counseling round, where I attempted a GD/PI and an interview round. The interview round was pretty rigorous, but in the end, I was granted admission to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was pretty updated and was specifically curated to make it industry-oriented. We learned a lot and the curriculum made us capable enough to deal with the day-to-day challenges of working in a corporate. Our dual specialization was divided into four semesters with a mandatory internship after the second semester. The faculty was pretty accessible and supportive throughout our course. We connected with them at a deeper level. They were more like a mentor than the professors. And with such extensive industry experience, they made it easy to translate theoretical learning into practice and industry-oriented knowledge.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
My first-year fee 3.5 lacs which was to be paid on a yearly wise basis. This fee covered my registration fee, examination fee, tuition fee, library fee, and a caution deposit. Though, for the second year, I paid around 3.48 Lacs. It was a pretty reasonable, at least in terms of the placement and the standard of teaching. Meritorious students are offered fee concession on the basis of their marks in the graduation and overall academic performance. Students can get as much as 100% fee waiver. Many trust funds also offers scholarships depending upon various eligibility criteria.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is well built and clean, for sports, they rent a huge turf which is amazing and have many sports events held every year, i have never used their wifi since i have a data connection, the library is huge and is filled with a lot of books.Numerous department centric events and cultural events are organised in the Amity campus itself. It literally helped us taking our mind off from the hectic academic schedule. College is pretty lively and many events are organised in which all the VIT groups across the country and abroad take part.
