I was asked for my marks in 12th grade (Computer science in particular). The head of the department and the other staff of the department take care of the admission duties for their respective substream. You have to fill the application form online mode or can get the application form from the college office in person. The application fees are reasonable. Then, your marks will be analyzed and admission will be provided on that day itself. You have to pay the fees for the first semester and if you want to opt for a hostel facility you have to pay the hostel fees too for the first semester.

The course curriculum is relevant to the changing trends. The faculties there are approachable, friendly, and down-to-earth. They are ready to help the students in academics and other aspects as well. All the staff in the C.S department have completed their Ph.D. They use advanced technologies and tools to enrich practical learning. Internal exams will be conducted twice a semester. And it will be easy to pass the exams but to score good marks will be challenging.

Students can take up internships on their own too. A lot of students choose part-time jobs over internships since they are paid more in part-time jobs. The fees structure is fair and sensible. There are a lot of scholarship schemes provided by the college. Economically backward students can avail them. They are not too strict about the deadlines for the payment of fees. Staff, there will also intimate the students about the jobs available in the campus.

A lot of students from different ethnicity, race, and other diversities come to study at Bishop Heber College. Many students from other states and countries prefer to pursue their graduate from this college. The library is huge. There is an umpteen number of books in the library. Students can access the library till 10 p.m. The library contains a great number of personal computers to use the internet facility. More than 20 clubs are present inside the campus. They keep you alive and entertained as well. Sports facilities are top-notch there.

Hostel facilities vary according to the hostel you choose. There are a total number of 14 hostels within the campus. You can opt for a hostel facility during admission itself. Or you can choose from the rooms available for rent within 1 km from the campus. You can choose between nonveg meals and vegetarian meals. The quality of the meal is good. The menu there includes popular foods from various cultures in this planet say idli, chappathi, Bread and jam etc.
