Remarks

The admission process was through Board Examination. No minimum marks or age criteria. On the counselling day, the teacher personally asked every student about the course and their Interest. I have not availed of any quota but there is a quota for OBC, SC, ST and other castes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always want to study Computer Science since my childhood, so I saw it as an opportunity for me to learn more about CS. There is a 1:70 ratio of teachers and students, every teacher but somehow always manages to focus on every student. All teachers are highly qualified, all have completed their master's degrees and some are also doctorate in their respective fields. Currently, the teaching method is online. Term exam is in every 6 months. If the basics are clear then passing the exam is probably easy.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of Internships available on Internshala, also the college offers a summer internship to students and those internships are very informative and helpful. I am in the first year so I do not know much about the Internships but I will update the review once I will come to know about it.

Placement Experience

4

The students are getting placements in the final year of college. Tech - Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, etc are coming for placements. The average package is around 3.5 lac. A lot of Companies offer Non-Tech Jobs also. Almost 60-70% of Students are getting placed from the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees structure is quite reasonable, the fee hike is also not very large. Financial assistance is given to students belonging to OBC, SC, ST and other castes. I am in my first year so I do not know much about the Jobs in the college given on campus.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is Nirvan. A lot of competitions are held in this annual fest. There are a lot of books in the library to read. One can read different kinds of journals and books. A lot of sports activities are held throughout the year and the teacher also focuses a lot on extra curriculum activities. Social Groups Like NSS, DLLE, etc are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I want to pursue my career in research field. It will prepare me best with basic knowledge. I feel the teaching method should be more innovative as such to develop interest of students in this course. The frequency and timings of exams are good enough for preparation.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in Semester 5 ie Third Year with companies like Deloitte , Wipro , EY , Schbang , DEShaw and other smaller companies coming to campus during our batch in 2022 . Not sure of the status now The placements are a lot better compared to IT of other colleges as almost 70% of our batch got placed . The average package ranges around 3.2 LPA while the highest offered by a company was 12 LPA but however , no student was able to crack the interview for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in Bsc 3rd year, PSM group i.e Physics, Statistics, Mathematics. As statistics helps in data science that's why I opted for it. The faculties in the Institute of Science are experienced and guide you throughout the course. They inculcate every aspect of the subject in their exams and prepare you for that. My experience is great so far.

Remarks:

There were many departments and each department has its own lab. The IT department was the best since it had an AI driven robotic lab. There used to be always coding competitions and the prize money would be equally good. The management was the best.

The college has partnered with a lot of international colleges and shares a lot of useful resources with them. In this way, we are able to get the world class international faculties coming to the college from time to time to teach us few topics of the subjects. This helps in giving the international exposure to the students. A lot of students are sent to the international colleges for the students exchange program.
