Remarks

The admission process was very smooth with detailed course descriptions and the college has been really helpful in providing the information on the course. I haven't availed any quota and was considered in the general category. Since my time of joining, the admission criteria were 50% marks as per merit and no entrance exams. Counseling or Orientation day was very well organized and a tour of the college was provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because of my extreme interest in Biological sciences and I was always research-driven towards the world of Biology and after looking at a number of courses that were available in Biological sciences, I was more fascinated towards Biomedical sciences and the number of coursework that it had to offer. The best part of this college is the student-teacher ratio and more individual focus on students provided by the lecturers. The faculty is very well qualified and almost everyone holds a Ph.D. degree which explains their exposure and experience. The term exams were timely and although most of them were application-based but with course-lectures taken by the lecturers during the course tenure or semesters are enough to clear the exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

The Projects were well designed and a lot of exposure is present for research passionate students but internships opportunities are currently provided by the Institute and the students are always encouraged to take up internships outside this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for Bachelor's is quite reasonable but becomes a bit hefty for Master's programs. But given the amount of exposure and laboratory facilities provided by the college, the fees provide justice towards it. Financial assistance and Scholarship opportunities are provided for minorities and Academically excellent students.

Campus Life

4

The campus is life is pretty much enjoyable. Since the course is more driven towards research and academics, there are not many fests and annual programs but yes we do have college days and 4-day fests with cultural activities, etc. The library is growing every year and is stocked up with journals and books for research and academics. Classroom amenities are very well satisfied. Sports and Extracurricular activities are very well planned and Coordinated with Inter- and Intra- Collegiate sports events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities provided are good. The quality of food in the mess and the Hostel Kitchen are satisfactory. The Registration process for Hostel was a smooth experience. I did opt to shift out of Hostel in the locality and it turned out to be cheaper but comes a shoulder of responsibilities.
