Remarks
VELS University is a very deemed university and ranks as one of the best colleges down in the south. The study to campus experience is very nice with well equipped facilities available in the campus. I applied from the college main office when i came to visit the campus. The admission fee was Rs 3500 and i had to sit for the entrance test followed by the GDPI. The seats were given based on these and the criteria to apply was a minimum marks of 55% in class 12 exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
BBA is a very good course as it covers mostly all job sectors which gives a student like me a wide range of options after the completion of the program. The ratio is about 1:40. We have well qualified professors to guide us throughout the entire six semesters. We have topics like finance and accounting, business analytics including communication and introduction to sociology and nit to forget business ethics which is taught in the first semesters.
Placement Experience
The campus is well known for its placements as it has a good placement department who helps us connecting with the recruiters. We become eligible from the final semester onwards and companies like Microsoft, TCS, TATA, amazon and many other companies come for recruitment. The average package starts from 3.5 lakhs 15 lakhs p.a
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are to paid on semester basis. The fees for per semester was Rs 60000 and in total it was Rs 360,000 . It is very reasonable as it provides with very good placements and college facilities as well giving it a wonderful college experience. We do have scholarships available but no on campus jobs. The scholarships is based on merit and excellence in a particular field.
Campus Life
The campus consists of swimming pool, football ground and basketball court as well. We have a very well equipped library as well. We also have different social groups as well which consists of music and business clubs and many more.
