Perfect JIMS

I opted for JIMS, Rohini as my rank matched their cutoff but the college is very far from my home which is why I chose JIMS, Kalkaji. I'm from the general quota so for JIMS, Kalkaji your IPU CET rank must be around 2500. The documentation work is done by the college itself and they'll tell you beforehand what all documents you need to bring to the college for admission.

I chose BBA because my interest areas are marketing and finance. So BBA provides you full knowledge about marketing and finance. The faculties of the college are all professionals in their fields. Some of them are degree holders as well. Internal and externals are 2 types of examinations held. Internals are held by the college for 25 marks where 15 marks are for written tests and rest 10 marks are for assignments and your interaction in class. Externals are conducted by the university itself by the end of each semester and are of 75 marks.

Placement drive is conducted for students of 5th and 6th semester where reputed companies like JK tyres, Asian Paints, Kent, Decathlot etc., participate to recruit students. The average package offered by these companies is around 3-4 Lakhs per annum. The highest package offered to one of the students was 17.5 Lakh to a PGDM student. More than 85% of the students get placed in these companies.

As compared to other universities IPU charges higher fees, but they also provide quality education. JIMS also organizes industrial visits for students every semester so that the students can know how the big companies work in real life. Fees remain the same that is Rs. 1,03,000 every semester. So this course will cost you around 3.5 Lakhs. Scholarships are also provided by the college.

ZEST is the annual fest organised by the students of JIMS and its faculties. All the branches of JIMS participate in this event. Classrooms are fully air conditioned. Smartboards are also set up in every classroom for better learning. There are no sports activities in the college as the campus area is limited but JIMS students have the access to a sports complex that is very near to the college. NSS, Dramatics, Placement cell are some active clubs in the college.
