Review of JIMS, Kalkaji

If you want to get admission in JIMS then your IPU CET rank must be around 3000 then you can get this college easily till the 4th round and you can then freeze your seat. I didn't avail any quota it was purely based on the rank that i got. If you want to pursure BBA in JIMS then your rank matters and your 10+2 score must be more than 50%.

I chose BBA because this course provides practical knowledge which is very much required in today's time. The teachers and the professors are highly qualified and are degree holders in there respective fields. The faculties are really humble and helpful throughout the semester. There are total of 6 semestr in BBA that is 2 semesters per year. So its a 3 year course. Internals and externals are held in each semester. Internals are of 25marks conducted by the college itself. Externals are of 75marks conducted by the university at the end of each semester.

Internships are mainly for 2nd-year students. Companies like Skillarena, IFortis, Collegedunia, etc., came to the college and offered roles of marketing interns and campus ambassadors. The companies provide the students with proper training.

3rd-year students are eligible for campus placements. Placement drive is held by the college in the month of october. Companies like Decathlon, VIVO, TATA,, Nestle, Amul, MRF etc., visit the capmus for placements every year. Average package offered by the these companies are from 3-4 Lakh every year. Highest package was 17.5 Lakh offered to one of the student pursuing PGDM. Teachers are really helpful at the time of placements. They guide the students well so that they don't panic at the time of interviews.

The fees remain same every year. BBA would cost you around 3.5 Lakhs in total. I didn't avail any scholarship but the college will keep you updated about the same and if you wish to avail it then you can contact the faculty they'll guide you.

Zest in the main fest conducted by JIMS in the month of Septemer every year. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. There 4 computer labs in the college. Books available in the library are of latest edition. College also provided us with various courses like Excel and also language course like French and German which are optional. There are no sports activities in the college. There are many socities in the college like of dance, dramatics, music, NSS etc. These are all run the by the students itself.
