Remarks

The admission process is easy in this college. The admission criteria were based on JEE as well as the performance of class 12. The college offers a great scholarship to those who performed well in their 12th. Before admission, the university provides counseling to the students. The admission process was very easy. The staff and faculties were very supportive and transparent. They provided us with every essential information needed about the college as well as programs. The staff was very helpful to us. They also helped us filling the counselling which might be difficult for some of us. All and all it was a pleasant experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science due to my interest and curiosity about learning technological things. Talking about the faculty of SDBCT, it is quite good. Teachers are very cooperative and supportive in nature. Mid-Semester, as well as Final Exams, are conducted between intervals of few months. The difficulty level of examination is moderate and some questions are difficult too. But if any student will prepare for it seriously then It is not difficult to pass.

There are both technical and nontechnical companies coming for placements. Students are placed from all branches. SD Bansal College Placement has seen a significant increase in their placement records over the years. It has esteemed companies as the top recruiters. Some of the highlights are: Salary range: INR 2.9 lacs per annum to up to INR 12.40 lacs per annum. Top recruiters: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Zensar, Infosys, Capgemini, BYJU’s, HCL, IBM and many more.

Campus Life

The campus of this college is very good. The faculties teach us very well and they also provide handwritten notes of each subject. There are very big grounds for playing games like basketball, football, cricket. A very big library is present in this college having lots of books. Every year college conducts technical fest as well as an annual fest. They give more importance for studies

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
