Remarks
I was strongly looking to take admission in the ICT branch. As BTech in ICT course is provided only in several universities in Gujarat, out of which Marwadi University is one. I took direct admission to the college. As I had a good score in 12th i.e 94 pr and also I had cleared JEE, so my admission process was easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly, the curriculum of our course was designed as per the industry standards so that it would be beneficial for placements. Most subject assessment schemes were based on practical knowledge and real-time projects. Most colleges have some boring syllabus having no-use subjects. But here, all subjects were connected and were taught by a mix of industry experts as well as faculties. Certain subjects like Linux, computer vision, .Net were taught by industry experts. Hence, we were already ready for the corporate world jobs.
Internships Opportunities
I got 1 internship opportunity from my department HOD at a company in Ahmedabad. It was based on the Computer vision domain. Apart from this, many internship opportunities were shared by the placement department of your college. One can apply through it and can easily get a good internship.
Placement Experience
In 3rd year of my course itself, I was placed at a company with a CTC of 12 LPA. Along with me, my 3 classmates and 1 senior got the same offer. Hence, placements opportunity is above excellence at our college if you are talented.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were constant throughout 4 years. Though, exam fees were charged every sem for the final exams. There are many scholarships available here by the Gujarat government. One of them is MYSY. I got this scholarship as my 12th score was above 80pr. Hence, I studied with a 50% fee scholarship here.
Campus Life
MU Fest is one of the prestigious festivals happening on the campus, where multiple technical, as well as non-technical programs, are conducted. It is the time for which every student of the university waits. Apart from this, our college also hosted some high valued events of IEEE and other organizations. Hence, college life is full of enjoyment with an ample amount of learning
