Remarks

I applied to Acropolis college also. But I am not getting the desired course there. So I didn't attend that. In Sushila Devi Bansal College, the admission process was smooth. And faculties are very helpful in clearing your doubts about the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty student ratio is 1:18, for almost 18 student there is 1 teacher to guide and take care of them. The teacher had very good knowledge about their course. The term exams were not so difficult if you have payed attention in the class.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After your fourth sem, the college starts to focus more on your communication and aptitude skills, preparing for your personal interview. College also informs about many internships opportunities and competitive exams also.

Placement Experience

From the end of the 6th sem, the student is eligible for campus placement. Almost 60% of student get placed from a batch. Companies like epam, byjus, ZenSar and many other good companies visit for placement. My plan after my degree is to place in a good mnc like Wipro and to do part-time Mtech with the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very minimal as compared to other colleges. And, there is no increase in fee with every year. The fee decided in the first year is constant for all the years. You can get a government scholarship according to your category (OBC/SC/ST). The college also informs you about the other scholarship exams.

Campus Life

The most recent tech fest was in May 2021 which was held online. It was a great hit. The campus contains two libraries, each in both buildings. In the library there are more than enough books, you will find all course related books there.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
