Remarks

I got my admission in my college based on 12th marks. I chose this college as I meet all the criteria and my fees were according to my 12th percentage. There are also other criteria for admission which are based on JEE mains marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had chosen this course because I had a keen interest in this field. There are approx 200 students and 30 faculties in our CSE department. Faculties here are well qualified and they provide their best for the growth of every student.

Placement Experience

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for their campus placements whose training is provided to all the students from the 6th semester onwards. Technical and non-technical both types of companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Byju's, and many more visit the campus for the placement procedure. 100% placement is the goal of our college and faculties provide their best to achieve it. The maximum and minimum packages are from 12 LPA to 3 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for every student is based on their JEE mains marks or 12th percentage, hence the fees of students differ accordingly. Scholarships are provided to students so that they can continue their studies with ease.

Campus Life

Tech fest and sports events are held annually in our college which are coordinated by students. Many students participate and enjoy the events. There are two libraries present which have enormous amounts of books available for the students through which students can study. There are some groups available that provide information and guidance to the students which are run by students.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
