Students can apply for the HPU. In online mode by visiting the official website of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The university conducts admission either through an entrance exam or on the basis of the candidate's academic merit. The exam is for 90 minutes and there will be no negative marking.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the MBA course because I want to become an entrepreneur and also to learn how to start and grow a business. The teachers are very well qualified. exams held after every two weeks and I can say it's not difficult to pass the exam because the syllabus is less and we don't have a burden.

Internships Opportunities

The students are offered internships with a few government organizations as well as private companies such as SJVNL, HPFC, HPPCL, etc. Stipend may vary from nill to 10k per month. Around 50% of students got selected from campus recruitment for paid internships and jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

My MBA course was for two years and fees for two years was 1 lakh 40 thousand rupees. HPU provides different types of scholarships, I got a ''single girl child scholarship'' also there are other scholarships like STUDENT AID FUND, CULTURAL ACTIVISTS SCHOLARSHIP, SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP.

Campus Life

Students herein HPU learn in the lap of nature. The climate is very pleasant over here, there is peace of mind everywhere. When you wake up in the morning and see beautiful hills in front of your eyes gives you an amazing soothe to your mind and body. The university life at HPU is amazing.

I had given MAT examination for taking admission for MBA. My percentile was 74 % in MAT. In Himachal, Baddi university is a best one for B.tech & Mba and also for Pharmacy line. Having a big campus situated in Baddi .Job placement is 100 % .And after all baddi is pharma hub. All the big companies having plants there which help students to get job easily.
