Remarks

Applied in Sushila Devi Bansal College, Indore. Admission criteria were based on the 12th percentage. The admission process was very easy just provided all the necessary documents. Counselling day was very helpful to boost the confidence of the students also we were provided the basic information about the courses we are pursuing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chose this course because of my interest in the IT sector. There's a good bonding between faculty and students due to which we can easily ask/clear our doubts regarding any subject. The teaching method is simple and easily understandable. The exam level is moderate.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees policy is very convincing and the study cost is less as the library has been provided to us. The scholarship is provided to the sc/st/obc categories and to the students of the general category who scored 85% or above. Provide huge opportunities to students regarding placements. The highest package is 12L and the average is 4L so far. Yet to face placement in upcoming months.

Campus Life

The college organizes various events such as annual functions, tech fests, sports days. Tech fest is conducted in the month of Oct and sports day is conducted in the month of March. Various books of different publishers are available in the library including aptitude and reasoning books. The college has a basketball court, table tennis room, football ground, volleyball area.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
