Remarks

I directly visited college they called me after my 12th result. I submitted all my documents copies there. The whole process was smooth and easy. College filled my counselling form. I directly got my admission slip.

Course Curriculum Overview

College followed the RGPV syllabus. So the whole syllabus is available at the RGPV site. The faculty-student ratio is 50:1. All the professors are Master's graduate. The exam is conducted in May and December of every year.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College only provides training. But no internship opportunity is there. There are four types of projects minor 1 minor 2 major 1 major 2 my project is a type of igrigate. There are lots of company visited in college.

Placement Experience

After the 6th sem, students are eligible for campus placement. 40-50% got placement every year. My plan is to prepare for a government job. Many MNC like Wipro TCS Hexaware visited. The highest package this year is 12 lakh. The lowest is 1.44 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 60000 yearly for CS, 45000 for IT, 30000 for EC, CE and ME. OBC SC and ST student can avail the post metric scholarship. For obc it is 25K to 30K yearly. For SC 66000 is the scholarship amount. The study is affordable.

Campus Life

The college has a big library with all subjects book easily available there. Yearly Tech fest is organised either in March or October. No sports facility is available.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
