Entrance Preview
I did my Graduation and PG there so i need not had to attend any external exam/ test apart for the the entrance test which college gives.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and they followed all the instructions and assignments very strictly. Each of the student is allowed to present their assignments and then and their the faculty explains the values bought there and gave some real life examples to help the students understand the subject.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they used to provide and used to encourage all the students to take up internships and helped most of the students to attend the interviews and get in to the internship roles. The minimum stipend used to be 5000 back in 2009.
Placement Experience
Placements and Job opportunities are fairly good, not many bigger companies came but to an extent most of the companies were good graded and had offered fair salary for the freshers considering their internship experience. But most of them started as permanent employees in the companies where they had started to work as interns due to the good and quality performance.
College Events
Not many events were conducted but there was a mandatory training which was called as Cutting Edge training which every one in the class had to attend. We were taken to Noida where the HQ of this college is situated and this is a week long training and was organised excellently.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its expensive compare to other colleges. I paid about 125000 per years for the graduation and 150000 for the post graduation. But at that time they gave us some extended time to pay our fee and then attend the exam. Not sure of the pricing structure now but to compare 6 years back we felt it was on the higher side.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get the loan but couple of my friends got the loans form the state banks. They were happy about it and should not be a problem. My case was completely different.
Campus Life
The campus then was good but now they have moved to MG road which mostly looks like a small office. Then when i was studying the campus was in Dickinson road next to commercial street and it was nice and moderate campus. Was more than enough for a small college like this. Many people did not know about WLC then but slowly it got the name.
Exam Structure
Exams were only the final exams, there were no monthly or quarterly exams as such. Assignments were given frequently, which were of difficult topics and each and every student is suppose to show case their assignment which was almost similar to an examination. To speak up and showcase the work in front of a 50 member class was a real tough task.
Admission
I had to attend the entrance exam which college conducts and then a personal interview that's it. It was for the integrated course. Which is of 4 years, where 2 years of graduation and 2 years for post graduation. The test was quite moderate in difficulty. It was for 1 hour majorly they asked questions related to general knowledge, business, current affairs and some tricky questions. Some of they were choice based questions too.
Faculty
They were quite professional, dignified, very knowledgeable people. They had wide experience in their career and was able to give instant real life examples to help us understand the business, economics and current situations. In the class demonstrations and interactive sessions were held which made the students life easier.
