Remarks

Admission Criteria includes a selection based on 12th percentage via direct counseling or first come first basis. The fee structure also depends on the 12th percentage. I chose this college through the MP Counselling procedure. The low fees with quality education provide perfect ROI for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because first of all computers always attracts me and secondly, the faculties of computer science in SDBCT are accomplished. Faculty: Student is 1: 60 All faculties are well qualified while most of them hold Phd in their field of intrest. The teaching method is very creative with demonstration and lives examples whenever possible. Exams are scheduled by RGPV university timely and they are moderately difficult.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onwards students are entitled to sit in placements with an ocean of opportunities. upGrad - 10 LPA, Jaro Education - 12 LPA, BYJUs - 10 LPA, TCS - upto 5 LPA, Potomac - 3.5 LPA, Cognizant - 4 LPA, Zensar - 3.2 LPA and many more. 90% of students have their jobs till the end of the 8th semester. I am planning to get placed in a company with a minimum package of 7 LPA after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

85% and above - 25000 75% - 84.9% - 45000 below 75% - 60000 Support for fee waiver students during MP counseling as financial aid. Since the fees are already considered, additional assistance is generally not required.

Campus Life

Every year Tech Fest is organized in March. The library is vast with piles of books for enlightenment for students in every field. Classes are well organized, tidy with a soothing learning environment with proper ventilation. RGPV conducts inter-college sports tournaments throughout the year.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
