Remarks

I have applied for several colleges but I wanted that college that gives placement as well as quality education, I was searching for the college of my choice and finally applied for Sushila Devi Bansal college of technology, Indore. I found that this college has all the qualities which I wanted so I took admission to this college. As here in this college, there is a scheme of fee concession on the basis of the percentage in the class 12th (minimum 50%), as I had scored good percentage 89% approx so my fee was 15000/- per year. Admission can be done on the basis of the class 12th marks or jee exam marks. On the counseling day, I met with some teachers which are in the counseling cell and they had given me proper information about all the procedures of education, placement in the college. By knowing all details, I decided to take admission to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

From school life, I had an interest in computers and how technology works behind the scene, that's why I took the course bachelor of technology in computer science and engineering. Computers and technology are such interesting things and also a very important part of life nowadays, almost everyone is using the technology for some hours in a day it has become an essential requirement of the humans in today's era. Now if talk about the faculties of the Sushila Devi Bansal college of technology then I must say that I have never seen this type of teacher in my school life. Almost all the faculties from which I got the chance to study, are awesome, supportive & dedicated to teaching. Apart from college hours, they are always ready to clear our doubts and help us as much as possible. They always focus on each and every student and try to improve the quality of individual students.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many companies which come to our college and provide internships with a good stipend, the student gets the chance to take the internships. Many Projects are also made by the students during the internships programs.

Placement Experience

4

From the starting of the 6th semester in the fourth year, students are eligible for the placements. Companies also start visiting the college from the month of August. Firstly technical companies visit the college i.e in the 6th semester after that nontechnical companies also come. Students can apply for a sufficient number of companies and get the opportunity. The record of placement of this college is good. In technical companies, the maximum package goes up to 8 to 9 lakhs and for Non-technical companies, it goes up to 12 lakh per annum. In technical for CS branch, there are many posts offered by the companies like assistant software engineer, system analyst, etc. Almost 90 percent of students get placed on an average per year. Currently my fourth has started and the training of our placement is also started, my plan is to get placed in a good company like TCS, and then I will go for master of technology.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is that the fees of the student are on the basis of the marks obtained in class 12th, i.e 15000 for 85 % above and so on. Also, there are some scholarships available for the OBC, SC, ST, apart from this there is a central sector scholarship for the general category students in which students get 10,000 per year from first to third year and 20,000 in last year. Now if I talk about campus jobs, then there are lots of companies that come to this college for hiring freshers. Some big companies are TCS, Infosys, Zensor, Cognizant, and many more. The placement record of this college is also very good, most of the students get good opportunities here. The maximum package of the placement in the college goes up to 12 lakh per annum. Both technical and non-technical companies hire freshers from this college.

Campus Life

4.5

Generally, the tech fest organizes in the month of February or March, in the tech fest, various events are organized by the students of all years and some students of individual classes act as an event coordinator. In tech fest, all types of events are there like coding competition, technical quiz, etc and some sports like cricket, football and, funny games are also organized. The Library of the college is also good, many subject-related books are present and also some books related to extra knowledge or for further studies are also available here. In classrooms, cleanliness is maintained by the cleaners of the college. Some other activities are also organized by the college sometimes like painting competition, maths quiz, etc especially on Saturday.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved. The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches. The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.
