Remarks

I applied for IT DAVV Indore but because fees are too and so I choose Bansal College Indore. I am from the SC category and I fill govt. Scholarship form for my course. There are no criteria only then your subject should be. Mathematic in 12th. I only feel registration form and participate in college level counselling by filling this form and also at that time I fill the admission form and pay 5000 fees at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in electronics gadgets so I choose Electronic and Communication. Faculty had done PhD, MTech etc. Their teaching method is good. The exam is in very short intervals so it is hard to prepare for the exam but still If more time is given it becomes less difficult and very easy to pass.

Placement Experience

After the 6th semester or we can say from the 7th semester for placement students are eligible. TCS, Jaro and so many companies are visited our college and they provide many offers for the student. 60% is required for placement. The highest package I hear is 14 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my course is 15000 because my 12th percentage is above 85%. I fill the form for government scholarship in the MP govt scholarship portal also I fill the form for awash Yojna and get the scholarship but it comes too late. My college fees structure is according to the percentage of 12 is now for 85 above percentage the fees is 25000 and for below 85% the fees is 35000 and so on.

Campus Life

Annual Techfest is organised by college students who participated and also organised their own competitions and win a prize. Sports activities are also organised by the college annually. There are two big libraries in our college we can issue book for a month atleast 5 books one time. The college has Facebook and Instagram account and students are connected with them.

Hostel Facilities

I rented a room in Indore and it was very costly for me and I make my own meal and the place I rented room is near the market area but even vegetable and other grocery are very expensive than other area but environment bis very good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
