Remarks

I had applied through KCET for which every college had a cutoff. In the first round, I was allotted the ECE branch and later in the 2nd round, I got into CSE. The admission process was quite smooth and counselling was at Mysore.

Course Curriculum Overview

*Course Curriculum* The college follows the syllabus prescribed by the VTU board. Having a good cgpa becomes important but it's not very easy to score in VTU but it's definitely not impossible. Getting a clear and basic idea of all the concepts is key. *Faculty* Our CSE Department faculties are very friendly and are always available for students. And the resource persons in our department are knowledgeable and they impart their knowledge in a clear way so that every student grasps the concepts very easily.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 73170 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college allows the students to undergo an internship after the completion of the 6th semester. We take the internships, learn the domain and complete the projects. We had online internships as per the pandemic situation.

Placement Experience

I'm very proud to say that our college has made the highest placements even during the pandemic time. Every student in my batch very a bit worried about placements in this situation but it was our placement officer who lifted us up and it is his constant effort that we got many companies and had a good number of offers this year. I am fortunate to have got 3 offers in spite of the pandemic. DXC technologies - 3.6lpa Accenture - 4.5lpa Fiserv - 8.5lpa We have an average package of 4.5lpa and the highest package this year being 19lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Structure: The fees differ from category to category like KCET, COMEDK, MANAGEMENT seats. They also provide an SNQ quota for few students based on some criteria. Scholarships College does allow students for applying for various scholarships they are eligible for and the office staffs make sure that the documents submitted by students are correct. As I'm a GM student I won't apply for any scholarships but the college gives a Geetachitanya scholarship for top students in the college. I'm happy to say that I received this merit scholarship for 2 years and my name was announced for the 3rd time as well.

Campus Life

One of the best things here in this college is the campus life. The campus environment is very cool and green all around. We have a cafeteria, canteen and a green cafe now where we can relax chit-chatting in our free time.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
