Remarks
I applied for Chandigarh University and Galgotias University. But I didn't go to CU because I chose mechatronics engineering there. I applied online. The minimum marks required were 50%. I filled the form of Galgotias university and they sent me a prospectus saying you are eligible for admission. I have to pay 20000 rupees to register myself at Galgotias University. Then pay 139000 rupees for the remaining procedure. After paying full fees my admission was completed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Computer Science and my family background was also from Computer Science. So I decided to do a Btech from Computer science from Galgotias University. There are enough faculty members but faculty members are not very supportive and lenient. You have to make files for the sake of marks. Some faculty members are well qualified and experienced and teach very well. But some just come and start reading PPT. They are not very serious about teaching us Or making our future bright. It is good in terms of exam point of view. You have to give an Internal assessment every one or two weeks. Then 2 times midterm exams then presentations and then end term examination. And all this with file work and a whole lot of homework.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well fees of Galgotias university annually for Btech CS is 159000 Rupees. But the downside is It doesn't matter for the Galgotias university management that you have taken admission in February or November or any month, but still, you have to pay the next year fees in April. Otherwise, you have to pay the fine of 200 rupees per day. And they won't let you give your exams also if you haven't pay the fees. So, in my opinion, it is the worst management in terms of fees.
Campus Life
Campus life is decent here at Galgotias University. There are many fests and happening here in the university but I haven't experienced them personally due to the pandemic. Books and journals are available in the library. Sports and everything happens at Galgotias University. Many clubs are run by students.
