Remarks

I was allotted the college through DTE counseling through Fee waiver. After the counseling we have to verify the documents then only the admission is confirmed. I have not applied for any other colleges because I find this college suitable for me. The fee structure is different for different grades. The minimum marks are just you should be from PCM background with 60% or above. The placements are also increasing every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The career opportunities after B.TECH are too high and are considered as a safe career and we can get good placement after choosing B.tech in the public as well as the private sector in India or abroad. The one-on-one interaction between teacher and student is possible. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. holders and we can rate them 9.5/10 for their teaching methods. The exams are held for each semester within 4-5 months and it's neither too hard nor too easy.

Internships Opportunities

The college has provided the training through IITBX. And many other pieces of training are organized by the college like data structures and competitive programming and Java. Using java we have made various projects. I have made a project named placement portal which will help the college TPO companies as well as students to maintain records and perform various tasks.

Placement Experience

Placements are provided and the highest package is 12 LPA. I would like to work as a software developer in a well-reputed organization after the completion of BTech. More than 85% of students get placed on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

For B.tech: students scoring 85% or above in 12th will have to pay 25000 INR. And it varies for different scoring marks and different for different branches. I have been allotted the college Tuition fee waiver with only 15000 INR. Scholarships are provided to various sc/st/OBC candidates as well as to minority category also.

Campus Life

Every 6 months tech-fest is held and in the other 6 months, sports week is held. Also for prefinal and final year cultural fest are organized. The books for many authors on various subjects are available. Many social groups are run by the seniors which help in junior-senior interaction which is a must.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
