The Best Learning Environment

Although the overall experience was good there but some improvements in infrastructure will be make it more better. And now they had worked in this regards and today much better infrastructure is there

I want to do engineering, I had applied through CEET, common engineering entrance test of Haryana State. One of my neighbor was already a student of AFSET and he strongly recommended the college to me.

The course content has in depth details for the curriculum in both ways practically and theoretically. In first year the syllabus and labs were common for all branches. After this same being Diverted in more specific and specialized content as per the stream

Summer training was the part of the curriculum in third year of 6 weeks. During summer training the purpose was to learn the industrial procedure and gain the industrial knowledge. Generally the companies only give us the knowledge no stipend was given. But some companies were given the stipend in 2-3K that time but this was on job training. I had done my summer training from BSNL and no stipend was given to me from BSNL.

My all batch was placed in various industries except 6 out of 90 students, as they didn't participated in campus due to further study plans. Companies like Thomson press, CDC, i energizer, tata elxsi, acceture, technofab, gemco controls visited the campus and selected on basis of interview, technical sharpness, communication skills etc.

Some college fest was organized. Fresher and induction party..farewell parties were organized by students. College also organised technical fest like TECHNOCRAFT' 09, reasoning test quiz named as TALENT'O PROCURAR 2008. and many other events. I participated as volunteer and participant.

The per annum fees was 46000 that time for ECE branch. Which was as per the norms of HRD minister. The same was paid in two installment of 20000 and 26000 half yearly. It include tution fee, lab fees, library fees and other administrative facilities. The exam fees of 600 per semester was excluded

Full fee waiver was given to SC/ST students. Also this was minority institution and scholarship from haryana government were provided to needy students.

Campus life was awesome and chilled environment. Along with gaining knowledge extra curricular activities were there. The gender ratio was good. Students from various region were studying there with good bonding and harmony. no place for gender discrimination, racism and communalism.

I didn't used the hostel during college. My home was near to college. But classmates who were using always appraised the facility. Hostel was not in the college premises. It's was outside the college in residential area. Students reach in college by college buses from hostel.

We are connected though AFSET alumni social networking page and seniors helped us a lot we also never lose chance of helping any junior of ours.

Semester system was there. In 4 years of curriculum total 48 theoretically and 30 practical subjects were there in 8 semesters. The labs and theory subject were allotted in a manner that schedule never seems hectic. Loved the Environment. The teachers and faculty was very good and they interestingly given us the knowledge.

That time notification was released by CEET, which is joint entrance test for engineering in Haryana State. After giving the test, Ranking was released by CEET. After this counseling was done and college was chosen on online portal. The overall procedure was online and hence hassle free.

The faculty was amalgamation of both young teachers and experienced one. They had core knowledge of their subjects. There experience and teaching really sharpen our technical knowledge. The young ones give us the passion to learn. And experienced one give us the knowledge.
