Remarks

I chose this college because from starting it was decided to take admission in this college because placements are very good and the fee is reasonable also provides training. After 12 you can take admission. You should pass in 12th. The admission process includes the registration process and advances payment.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose b.tech because I am interested in doing coding and also interested to know about technologies. Faculties are very good and supportive. Maximum 60 students in one class. Faculties provide notes to clear all doubts.

Internships Opportunities

There is so much training provided by the college. Like C, java, data structure. And provides training for placements since 2 nd year, all the sessions of aptitude verbal communication provided.

Placement Experience

From the 7th sem placements starts. And there are different criteria according to companies. TCS, HCL, Zensar, Byjus, and too many companies. Visits I have seen the highest package of 12 LPA and 2.5 is the minimum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees depend on the 12th percentage. I have 79.4 percentage so I have to pay 35000 per year or also fees depend on jee marks. I am general so I have no idea about scholarships. Some of my friends received scholarships.

Campus Life

Every year tech-fest held and there are too many coding competitions and technical competitions and also every year sports days held. And the annual fest is only for 3 and 4 years. In the library all subjects books provided.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
