Remarks

Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology Indore is approved by AICTE. And Its engineering courses are affiliated to RGPV Bhopal. So the admission process to get into the college is usuual according to the government norms. Still for better clarity for admission. There are a bunch of procedures one can avail for getting into the college. Let's discuss those briefly. First, the traditional method where a student of class 12 needs to write JEE exam. With a decent score in JEE, a student can take admission into the college after completing all the essential processes of counseling. Second, there has been a unique initiative from the institute where some number of seats are reserved for talented students from financially humble backgrounds. There would be some fee relaxation for these students. Relaxation may vary from 10k to 35k, which is dependent on the percentage performance of 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been curious about the computer, How it works since childhood. So, I opt computer science from this college because it fulfilled my initial requirement. The ratio of student to faculty pretty decent than other its peer institute. The qualification of the faculty of the is par with the top-notch institution of its league. Some faculties are phenomenal, But most of them are average.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I mentioned earlier, There is an initiative for brilliant students from financially humble backgrounds. there is some fee relaxation which varies from 10k to 35k. As usual, the fee of the college is 50k. There has been a provision for the scholarship for all the deserved students.

Campus Life

The college conducts two annual fests for the students. first, is techfest named frequency and second is a cultural festival. This institute contains two libraries with an ample amount of books from humanities to engineering. students never feel lonely in the library.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
