Remarks

I applied only to Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology. In this college admission criteria is based on 10th to 12th and JEE marks. The admission process is easy by filling a counselling form and gets an invitation to visit a college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am very interested in programming. Faculty students ratio is good. The faculty of this college is qualified and experienced. We have to give tutorials and must and university exam to pass.

Internships Opportunities

In our college students gets the training from 3rd semester onwards to train students by giving the knowledge in a deep of programming language such as C, C++, Java. And also give knowledge of DBMS.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited in college Hexaware, TCS, Naggarro, Evosys, Persistent systems etc. The highest package 12 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. 70% of students placed. After getting a degree to work in an MNC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is not high. The fee is stable throughout the entire course. My fee for the study is 50000. The scholarship is available to all students of all categories except general category student and scholarship amount is different for different categories of students.

Campus Life

College Techfest name is Frequency itis conducted in the month of March. The availability of books is sufficient for the students to study. Sports activities are in our college is cricket, volleyball, chess etc.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
