Remarks

The eligibility criteria were that the candidate must have completed 12th with Physics, Maths and Chemistry or IT CS engineering graphics as optional subjects with the aggregate percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidate). Candidates who pass 10+2 with the grading system must have grades equi to mentioned aggegate%. Result awaited students are also eligible on a provisional basis. The admission was though online off-campus counselling on the marks obtained in 10+2. It was a smooth process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teacher was absolutely great and highly knowledgeable. They were very punctual about the assignment completion and submission. Also, the teachers are helpful and communicate with students and always helps the student whenever needed.

Internships Opportunities

Intership was provided and whoever is interested can apply for that. Students can also opt for the internship from the college which they provided or can also do internship from outside college offer. Students get good knowledge and experience from these programs.

Placement Experience

Almost 80% of the students from IT and CS got placed in one or many companies. The college provides ample placement opportunities and also had great training plans for placements. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA and the lowest can be 3 LPA for IT CS students and for other can goes to 2 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

If students had scored well in 12th then the fee for those students is really easily affordable and other than that scholarship is also provided if applicable. Placed in 2 to 3 companies with a good stipend.

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are conducted into the college every year. All the types of books were available in the library related to a particular subject. The classrooms are good. Sports and extracurricular activites are held regularly.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

College provide us opportunity to sit in campus placement from 7th semester. There is number of companies visits in college like vipro, redhat,tcs etc. Highest package is 20-25lack per year and average is 5 lakh.my plan is to get directly campus placement.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
