Remarks

I directly visited the college after my 12th board results for admission. There was no online application. I submitted all my documents for admission. No original documents need to be submitted. The admission process was smooth and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

College is affiliated with RGPV Bhopal. So the course is the same as what available on the RGPV site. It included many new topics like 5 G technology, IOT, etc. The faculty-student ratio is different in different branches. For CS or IT, it is 50:1. And for EC or Civil it is 20:1.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best thing about college is that it is affordable. A good education level is a key with fewer fees. My fee is 15000 INR per year because of the 12th percentage. I am also eligible for an OBC scholarship. Which may vary from 25000 to 30000 yearly.

Campus Life

The training and Placement cell is very active. Timely placement opportunities are provided to all colleagues of mine. The library is open to all students with good facilities. The process of issuing and submitting books is smooth. The college needs to look into the area of sports.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

A balanced and Review : the good and the bad
