Remarks

Every college has a different admission process and different eligibility criteria. To getting admission there you have to clear 10+2. Then fill the admission form and complete all the admission processes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course B.Tech(IT) because I am keenly interested in technology. I am always eager to learn new things this field never having an end. And this field creates new things every day. There are 30 students in each class and above 2 faculty of the same subject. So the ratio of students and faculty is good. Faculties are extremely qualified and had a good experience. The teaching method is best, Term exam is semester-wise, in 6 months there are 2 midterms and then final exams. The difficulties of exams depending on the learning maturities of the student.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, the student is eligible for the placement. There are a number of opportunities regarding placement and job. Various companies visited the campus include Hexaware, Canopus, Genesis, and Naggarow, etc. Some companies having eligibility criteria and some not. The highest package was 12LPA and the average was 3.5LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite well, fees remain the same in all 4 years of study. The fees are to be paid in 2 parts. You can pay fees online. The scholarship is given by the government which is helpful for paying fees.

Campus Life

The life of campus is exciting, There is an annual fest, tech fest conducted in college and they also organize sports in college. You do not need to buy different author books for each subject there are many books available in the library you can issue them and submit them on time or you can reissue them.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.
