Remarks

The admission process is entrance based and quite simple for every student. Fees are also less and convenient for each and every student, on counselling day. All medical check up was done for taking admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Term exams always done on time and exams were moderate easy so that every student can pass them. In the exam, there are 40 marks Multiple questions and 9 questions of 10 marks from which we have to attend only any 6.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

From university I learn sp many things about agriculture, the problems of farmers, day to day challenges in agriculture and on farm and how to beat them with available resources, also learn how to manage all the things in life.

Placement Experience

In the final year or after graduation students become eligible for placements, companies like Sugarcane mills, IDBI bank, Bayer crop science, HDFC bank come to university for placing the students after an interview process, the highest package was given by IDBI bank recently that is 7.5 lakh per annum, almost 35% of students got placement during campus placement, after degree. I wanna do my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 20000 per year and scholarship on metric base that is the student who qualifies more than 7.5 CGPA in the semester will get rs 6000 per month and it is very helpful for a student, also, other sty funds are there for sc students.

Campus Life

National Service Scheme is a big activity which is totally run by students. In 2018 I was the camp leader of the NSS Annual Camp with over 400 students. Swachhta Abhiyan and other programmes always conducted by students.

See placements for msc chemistry students is very limited everywhere. Only some of the students accept placements offer because the ctc is not so much. Most of the students go for net jrf instead of doing private jobs. They prefer to go research and also some students apply for phd in europe or usa where they get really good stipend

Going through my university.

Placement Experience:

As per the placement most replacement work done from the BTech department. And there are many companies who give their advertisement for the recruitment and they take a test in which last semester student or the student who has just fast are eligible. So placement are offered mostly in engineering department but some companies also post advertisement for many other department like BCA ,BBA ,Bsc and Msc. Highest package round 8 to 9 lakh. The average packages round 4 lakh. The percentage of student getting placement is not high but it is around 60%. I want to pursue my career in data science.

Pros and cons of being an agriculture student

The students who have completed 12th with PCB/PCM/PCA/PCMB with 50% marks are eligible for this course. The application form, application fres and application dates are available on the official website of the university. Some seats are reserved for the underprivileged categories SC, ST and OBC along with economically weaker sections. Seats are also reserved as sports quota, for the children of army officials and physically handicapped students as well. Some seats are also being provided to the children of the villages which have donated lands for the KVK's. The reservation benefits should be given to only those students who actually need it.
