The IMS experience

I had a telephonic interview as I could not be physically present at the campus. The interview was smooth and included questions on personality as well as curriculum. There was a panel of 2 assessors who focused on my strengths, weaknesses, hobbies, career goals along with basic information on marketing economics accounting also.

There were term exams at the end of every quarter i.e every 3 months and the difficulty level was moderate as the exams were always application-based and on practical questions rather than theoretical.

I worked with the insurance firm Lancer Council Pvt Ltd as an intern and the work was to basically be aware of the products and pitch them to possible customers. There was no stipend for the internship as it was my very 1st time for the work from home situation and performance and training were hampered.

I am settled in Pune and considering the covid scenario and placement and hiring situation, the placement and package though not exemplary is satisfactory. The overall preparedness for the job is also good as it did not become hard for me to adapt.

I received a waiver of 50000 as my MAT score was above 90 percentile. There are various options available for financial aid when I took the admissions depending upon the overall academics and various exam scores. I received the position of sales associate at Repos India Pvt Ltd in Pune.

There are various clubs and societies in the college for the overall growth of the student. There is marketing, finance, HR, Operations, IT club along with sports and welfare clubs There was also a student body. It also had an association with the government and runs clubs for student exchange as well as government help.

There are options available nearby but most preferred is crossings republic as it has all the amenities and facilities required to sustain life as well as easy and cheap accommodation. There are shops available for food, stationery, and other required stuff. There are 24*7 open shops too, as well doctors nearby for medical assistance.
