Remarks
I have applied for various colleges like Amity, SGT., etc. I also gave an entrance test for IP university for getting admission here. Once I made the cutoff list, my school seniors (who are also physios) advised me to go to BCIP as this college has a good reputation and it focuses more on overall training rather than bookish knowledge. I went to university counseling and got this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my family and relatives. I was unable to crack AIPMT. The class size was 60. All the faculties were MPT. This was the best part. They were good in teaching and didn't make us a bookworm. Exams were timely but passing wasn't bread and butter. I personally never had any backlogs but some of my friends had. If u study properly u will pass with flying colors.
Internships Opportunities
It is a 6-month mandatory internship after final exams. I did it from DR. RAM MANOHAR LOHIA HOSPITAL, DELHI. I did my postings from there also. College plays a key role in providing opportunities in that hospital because it's not easy to get there. There were lots & lots of patients and this is what a student wants.
Fees and Financial Aid
No stipend was there in college. I think it should be introduced as it is a must in any medical college. The fee was around 1 lakh per year. I didn't get any scholarships. I didn't get any campus jobs also.
Campus Life
Being a physio, we were taken to various stadiums and national events as volunteers. This is one of the best things for a physio. Apart from that, fests were conducted around jan-feb and it is fun throughout. Camps were also conducted frequently. Library is well equiped with latest journals. Classrooms are fine. Labs are good.
Interview Experience
There was a university entrance test for taking admission in this college. I gave the entrance test for GGS-IPU and thus I got admission in this college. Then there was counseling. I was preparing for AIPMT already so I didn't need to prepare for it separately.
